Who can participate?
Everybody from age 16 and above.
Terms:
1. No specific topic is required for the short story.
2. Participants should follow the general manifestations of short story (Intensity – Brevity).
3. Works are to be written in either Arabic or English.
4. Participants should abide by the grammar, spelling & punctuation rules.
5. Write not more than 4 papers (A4-size) using 12 pt Times New Roman font (for English short stories) or 14 pt Simplified Arabic font (for Arabic short stories), with double line spacing. Set the margins of your document to 2.5 cm on all sides. Create a header that numbers all pages consecutively.
6. You should write in your own words; plagiarism is forbidden.
7. Each participant is allowed to send only one short story.
In case the above terms are not met, the contest panel has the right to reject the submitted work. The panel also has the right to edit the submitted work before publishing it in case of language mistakes.

Then, send your short story (MS Word file) to infobib@bibalex.org. Please send the short story using the same e-mail address as indicated in the registration form.

What can I win?
For those participating in Arabic, there will be three prizes for the first three winners, in addition to ten certificates for the first ten winners. As for participants contributing in English, there will be one prize for the first winner, in addition to five certificates for the first five winners.
The winners will be announced on 29 November 2012. Winners from abroad will receive a certificate by mail.
